The Swift Creek Moms ministry welcomes any woman with children in the home. Our goal is to point the women of Swift Creek Baptist Church and their friends to become more Christ-like as we behold His glory (2 Corinthians 3:18-19). We have several Mentor Moms within the group who attend our gatherings and host us from time to time. Most importantly, they are available to lend a listening ear, pray with us, and give advice when asked!
Moms Meetups (monthly)
Join us at our moms’ meetups! Each month, we’ve got something fun planned ranging from local outings to girls’ nights hosted at someone’s home. These are relaxed times to have fun, get to know each other better, and learn from each other and our Mentor Moms. Information can be found on our event calendar and our private Facebook group, linked here. (FACEBOOK GROUP)
Moms Focus & Fellowship Sessions
Select Tuesdays, 9:30-11:30am or 6:15-7:45pm
You’re invited to participate in Women’s Bible Study offered throughout the year on Tuesday mornings or evenings! We are under the umbrella of our church Women’s Ministry, and we love interacting with all ages and stages of women in this Bible study structure. To minister to our moms specifically, “Focus & Fellowship” dates are offered 2-3 times each Bible study. On these days, Swift Creek Moms split from the rest of the group for a special session pertaining to topics in motherhood. We have a speaker, ample discussion time, and sometimes a fun activity! Hot coffee and tea provided; Bible study registration required.
During all morning sessions of Women’s Bible Study, childcare is available for infants through preschool children. Your child will be in an age-appropriate room with our childcare workers. They will be well cared for and learn about the love of Jesus, with a snack provided.
We also offer a homeschool room for school-aged children. Registration is required for all children.
Per church policy, all childcare workers are required to have a background check.
Single Moms Study Group – The God Who Sees Me
Wednesdays, January-May, 2026 | 6:30 – 7:45pm
Life as a single mom can feel unseen, unheard, and overwhelming. But God sees you — just as He saw Hagar and her son Ishmael in the wilderness. Join a community of women discovering God’s grace and presence in every season of parenting. We’ll be reading God’s Grace for Every Family by Anna Meade Harris and discussing it together beginning January 2025. During this time, your kids are welcome in the nursery, AWANA, and student ministry!
