Join us (and bring a friend) for a great weekend of worship, teaching, fellowship and fun! Casey Weymouth, founding director of The Fix Ministry, will share how God redeems brokenness and brings freedom. With a heart for addiction recovery and church planting, Casey brings a unique perspective on God’s power to transform lives. Choose from a variety of breakout sessions led by women of Swift Creek!
Cost: $30 | Dinner Friday, and Saturday lunch provided. Coffee and light snacks provided Saturday morning.
Both Friday and Saturday, we’ll be collecting new, unopened black crew socks and unopened packages of individually wrapped snacks (crackers, cookies, granola bars) to support The Fix Ministry. Bring some to the event and qualify for an extra door prize drawing! Items will not be collected in advance, and you must be present to win the extra drawing.
Speaker: Casey Weymouth
Casey Weymouth is one of the founding directors of The Fix Ministry, a discipleship program for individuals battling substance abuse and life-controlling issues. Casey holds a masters degree in addiction counseling from Liberty University and she and her husband are endorsed church planters for the North American Mission Board.

Join Jen Harvey, physical therapist assistant, for a fall risk assessment and some easy activities to improve your balance and keep you from injury this winter.
Make a Simple Bouquet – Rebecca McNiel
Learn reasons to have some happy flowers in your home and how to share a little brightness with others. A few principles of joy will be discussed. We will be able to take a sample home too!
10 Things Teachers Wish You Knew – Tory Wingfield
Do you want to support your local teachers throughout the school year but not sure where to start or how to help? Come to this session to learn more. From a few years serving public school teachers and students through Communities in Schools, Tory will share insight and very practical ideas!
Tell the Story – Jen Barger
Everyone loves a story! Learn how to communicate the truths of God’s Word through storytelling. This will be a foundational and practical session to help you reach friends, family, and neighbors with the Gospel as well as how you can use stories for discipleship and even training!

We’ll step into the world of Pride and Prejudice, exploring its themes of character, virtue, family, and grace. Whether you’ve never read the book or simply want to learn more, join us with no advanced reading required! We’ll enjoy an English style tea, a short presentation about Jane Austen’s life and faith background, an introduction to the characters and storyline in Pride and Prejudice, and a thoughtful discussion about connections between Austen and our own lives. After creating our boards, we’ll show off and share our boards with the rest of the women attending Funshops during the lunch break. Build it, eat it!
