God has blessed Swift Creek with many talented musicians to lead, sing, and play, for which we are so grateful. If He has put a desire in your heart to sing or play for Him, we definitely have a place for you!
(High School and up)
The Music and Worship Ministry of Swift Creek Baptist church is here for one central reason: to give praise and glory to our awesome God. Our primary worship leading group is our New Covenant Choir, Praise Team and Orchestra. We are constantly on the lookout for folks who have a heart to worship the Lord and a musical gift to offer Him. There is no audition requirement for the choir or orchestra and no prior experience necessary to be part of the choir; however a few years of instrumental experience is a real plus for anyone desiring to play in the orchestra. We hold annual auditions for our Praise Team and those are only for members of our choir. We love singing many of the latest worship songs God is giving to the church today, as well as rich hymns of the faith arranged in new and refreshing ways.
Wednesdays 7:45-9:00pm, held in the Music Suite
Wednesdays 6:30-8pm, held in the Worship Center
It is important to us that our children experience the joy of singing and have the opportunity to develop their musical talents in a Christian environment. We have two children’s choirs that are directed by gifted leaders. They teach these precious ones to love music and singing while taking the time to communicate Biblical truths and the joys of worshiping God.
