What to Expect
Visiting a new church can be intimidating: What should I wear? Where do I park? Where do my kids go? In order to help you feel completely comfortable when you visit; we have tried to answer some questions you may have in advance. If you have any additional questions, don’t hesitate to contact us at 804-739-3001 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
What should I wear? There is not a dress code at Swift Creek for member or visitors. Some dress in more traditional “Sunday Best” but most dress a little more casual. We think you’ll fit in no matter how you dress. The most important thing is simply to be yourself!
When are services held? Our worship services are on Sundays at 9 and 11a
Where do I go once I get there? Our main entrance is at the front loop with a sign that says “Worship Center” above it. When you first walk in this entrance you will see a Visitor Center on your right where a church member will greet you and direct you where to go next. Our Campus Map is always available online!
What is a worship service like? Our worship services are a blend of the excitement of modern Christian music and the comfort of traditional songs led by our Adult Choir and Praise Team. Our goal is to encourage each person to join in worshiping our God through the power of His Spirit. If you don’t know the songs, don’t worry, the lyrics of the songs are displayed on a large screen at the front of the worship center so everyone can raise their voice and sing. Followed by a powerful message from Senior Pastor Monty Guice. He will deliver a relevant message from God’s Word in a conversational style that offers hope and inspiration. (note: our praise team is currently leading worship while our choir takes a break due to social distancing guidelines)
Where do my children go? COVID-19 Note: We are working diligently to provide safe and socially distanced programming during this time. We are asking that you register your child so that we can maintain a safe number of children in each classroom. Children 1st-5th grade will go to their classroom on the Children’s Hallway upstairs, while infant-kindergarten will be downstairs in the Preschool Hallway. There will be someone to greet you at either entrance to escort you to the correct drop off location for your child.
How do I get to Swift Creek? We are located off of Hull Street on Spring Run Road. For more detailed directions, click here.
Where should I park? If you are visiting with us, we have designated guest parking located near the Main Entrance to the Worship Center so just follow the signs and look for the guest parking banners on the light poles.
