About Swift Creek Student Ministry

The aim of Swift Creek Students is to treasure Jesus and see him as far better than everything else this world has to offer (Phil 3:8).  From 6th-12th grade, students go through one of the most significant periods of transformation in their life. During these years, we long to see students be transformed into the image of Jesus Christ in every way through the power of the gospel (2 Cor. 3:18), and for them to see the Name of Jesus magnified and proclaimed to their family, friends, school, community, and to the ends of the earth (Phil. 1:20-21; 1 Pet 2:9).

Students are being transformed by:

Connecting with God
Be a Worshipper of Christ (Phil. 3:8)
Know the Word of Christ (Col. 3:16)
Do the Will of Christ (Rom. 12:2; Matt. 7:24)

Connecting with others
Be the Body of Christ (Ephesians 4:15-16).
Know Your Role in the Body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:12-19)
Do your Part for the Body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:1-7)

Connecting others with God.
Be a Witness for Christ (Acts 1:8)
Know the Power of Christ (Acts 1:8)
Do the Mission of Christ (Matt. 28:19-20)

We are serious about partnering alongside parents to see this accomplished. Our goal is to equip parents to be the primary disciple-maker of their home, with the ultimate aim that their teenager will grow up into adulthood loving and serving Christ with their whole heart, mind, soul, and strength (Eph. 6:4, Dt. 6:4-9, Eph. 4:13).

Connecting with God, Connecting with Others, Connecting Others with God

At Swift Creek we are all about making connections. The most important connection is the one we can have with God through faith in Jesus Christ. Once that connection is established we want to make connections in our homes and with the rest of the church family. A strong church is built by people of strong faith and individual homes where God is worshiped and honored. Read More...
