Ministry Testimony

“I was unemployed for about 5 months in 2017. During this time I reached out to my church for support and was connected with Matt Newquist who leads the BJM. Matt met with me on several occasions and kept in contact with me via email. He also supplied me with several resources that helped with the practical side of my job search such as resume review, job search aides, etc.

He connected me with a Career Transitions Group through Needles Eye Ministries, where I plugged in and made some great friends that were also going through the same thing. There are cycles that I went through while being unemployed that included, loneliness, isolation, depression, self-worth issues and others, so I needed to connect with people.

Now that I have gone through this, I consider it an honor to help others that will experience the same things that I did.”

A strong church is built by people of strong faith and individual homes where God is worshiped and honored. Read More...
