Women’s Ministry

women's ministry

The Women’s Ministry at Swift Creek seeks to provide opportunities for women to grow toward maturity in Christ through discipleship, fellowship, service, and outreach. We seek to learn more about the Lord in order to become all He has designed us to be.

We strive to provide opportunities for study that will direct and strengthen our walk with the Lord; opportunities for fellowship and encouragement as we journey together; and opportunities to develop and utilize our God-given gifts as we serve and minister together.

This is a place where women can come and develop lasting relationships with sisters in Christ. We are so thrilled to meet you and take this journey together with you. Look for opportunities to connect with us in the church bulletin, on our website, on Facebook (“Women’s Ministry at Swift Creek”), or by email at womensministry@swiftcreekbaptist.org.

God has a name for any and every situation in which you find yourself. Through this study we will learn more about the character of God and His many capacities of relating to our humanity as we examine 11 of those names. This knowledge allows you to discover both peace and power as you rest in His covenant care of His children.

Hosea by Jennifer Rothschild (Thursdays)
Thursday Mornings: 9:30am–12pm
October 26 – December 13, 2017 (7 Sessions)
The book of Hosea will challenge us with judgment so harsh it will singe our hair—an unheeded sermon warning of devastating doom shortly to come. But it will show us the kind of love we dream about. Be amazed by the love of Hosea for his wayward spouse—and more amazed by the unfailing love of God for His wayward people, and for all people. Hosea showers us with hope—hints and portents pointing to the coming of the promised Messiah.

Connecting with God, Connecting with Others, Connecting Others with God

At Swift Creek we are all about making connections. The most important connection is the one we can have with God through faith in Jesus Christ. Once that connection is established we want to make connections in our homes and with the rest of the church family. A strong church is built by people of strong faith and individual homes where God is worshiped and honored. Read More...
