A native of North Carolina, Ronnie came to
know the Lord at the age of seven, and was
always active in church ministry in various
roles and positions. Before surrendering to the
call to pastoral ministry in 1984, Ronnie served
in ministry positions involving Music, Youth and
Education at three different churches in North
Carolina. He then served for eleven years as
pastor of Cornerstone Baptist in High Point,
N.C. Ronnie came to Swift Creek as interim
pastor in June of 1997 and was called to be
their Senior Pastor in February, 1998.
Ronnie is a pastor/teacher who has a strong
belief in the inerrant word of God and preaches
it expositorily. He and his wonderful wife,
Debbie are blessed with two precious children,
Anna Beth and Aaron. His passion is to see
people come to Christ and to grow to maturity in
Him, primarily through the building of
relationships.
