Lillian Parisher

Preschool Ministries
Education:
- Graduate of Wingate College in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services.
- Graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1989 with a Master of Arts Degree in Religious Education.
As a teenager Lillian answered God’s call to
serve in full-time Christian ministry and began
working at her home church during her college
years directing the Summer Children’s
Ministries. In the years since, God has allowed
Lillian to serve in a variety of positions which
focus on ministering to, strengthening and
encouraging families and people in crisis. For
11 years Lillian worked in the field of
Adoption, serving for more than 6 years as
Director of a Christian Adoption Agency. Her
work experiences and continuous training also
focused largely on child development issues as
she supervised the placement of young children
into foster and adoptive families. Other work
experiences include educational counseling and
support services to children & youth with
emotional and learning disabilities. She is a
native Virginian, though her education and
ministry experiences have also given her the
opportunity to live in North Carolina and Texas. Lillian
joined the staff of Swift Creek Baptist Church
as Director of Preschool Ministries in January
2001.
